Rohde Insurance Services was founded in 1978 by Myren “Mike” Rohde and Charles Lindstrom as Lindstrom Rohde Agency. In 1991, Charles retired and Mike and his wife, Dianne, took the reins and changed the name to Rohde Insurance Services (RIS). Son, Mickey joined in 1995 as a licensed agent. In 2013, Mickey purchased RIS from Dianne and is now the sole owner.

Every RIS employee meets annual continuing education requirements. Individuals with Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) and Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designations have demonstrated professional competence through a combination of experience, formal training, and a series of comprehensive written examinations focusing on all major fields of insurance, insurance management, and agency operations.
